Let’s go to Washington, DC on April 5 to let our government know how we feel about what is happening OR not happening. I’m putting together a bus to leave Manistee on April 4th, arrive in Washington, DC for the Hands-Off March and return to Manistee the evening of April 5th. The bus company needs at least 28 people to ride the bus before they will schedule it. With only 28 people, the cost is $271 per person. A full bus with 55 people will reduce the cost down to about $150 per person. We also have some members who are willing to sponsor people. Would you be willing to sponsor someone? The sponsorships are limited, so let me know as soon as possible.
I was at the Rally in Washington in 2017 and we are still talking about it the crowd size. I rode the bus and it was great. It was comfortable, stopped along the way, and we made new friends on the ride. We need the biggest turnout ever to send a message about our unhappiness with the current administration and congress.
