These are tough times, no question. The good news is, we’re in it together, doing the hard work to speak out and resist. And although it may be hard to believe right now, our efforts made a difference last year and we’ve got the numbers to prove it.
This Saturday, Chris Kitzman and Aubrey Ann Parker will present some numbers, good and bad, and show why we were one of only four or five Michigan counties–out of 83–that actually “moved left”, as the New York Times put it, with our 2024 vote!
We’re also going to talk about how it’s going right now, what we’re doing to cope, but stay engaged; informed, but not obsessed; optimistic in dark times. How are the phone calls going? What else do you have to share?
We’ll also have a list of resources–good things to read, follow online, watch, join–that are keeping some of us on track. We’d love to hear your suggestions, as well.
Join us at Headquarters if you can. The coffee will be on and the breakfast treats set out at 9:30 a.m.
Zoomin’ from home? Just click here to register. Join us online for our virtual coffee starting at 9 a.m., catch up with folks, and we’ll join Headquarters for the meeting at 10.
We look forward to seeing you.
