Join us on Saturday, March 19, to hear from Cathy Albro, leader of the Michigan Democratic Party’s Rural Caucus, which routinely attracts close to 100 Democratic county officials from across the state to strategize and plan campaigns and other outreach projects — with the central aim of turning Michigan’s many rural red counties blue.
Cathy has been politically active for much of her life and has run for Congress herself. She has also been a teacher, a principal, owner of an early-learning childhood center and of a creative toys company, and a director at the High Scope Educational Research Foundation.
She lives in Middleville with her husband and two children and operates the Nourish and Flourish Farm.
Please join us at 9:30 am for our virtual coffee klatch and catch up. The formal meeting begins at 10:00, with party news and announcements, followed by Ms. Albro at 10:30. She will bring us up to speed on the activities of the Rural Caucus and answer our questions. Reserve your Zoom spot here.
