We’ll have signs and banners for you. If you bring your own, say what you support! So how do you get in the big shows? According to our own Parade Marshall, Susan Koenig:
For Frankfort, line up by 9:30 in the Graceland parking lot. The earlier the better for parking. Parade begins at 10 a.m. It’s usually over by 11a.m.
In Beulah, line up by 1 p.m. behind the Government Center. The parade begins at 1:30. This is shorter than Frankfort’s, very doable for walkers, and is done by 3 p.m.
If you have Democratic Party paraphernalia (hats, shirts, buttons), please bring or wear; our flag colors work: Red, White and Blue! Bring a water bottle; we’ll hand out little American flags and pencils to folks along the sidewalks.
